5.
Ensuring that the mains supply cable to the charger is disconnected, set the voltage switch to the required setting
(12V/24V).
6.
Connect the red clamp to the positive battery terminal (+) and the black clamp to the negative terminal
(-).
7.
Plug in the mains supply cable and set the switch to the "On" position on the control panel.
8.
Check the ammeter to determine the current being delivered to the battery at the start of the charge. During the
charging process, the ammeter will decrease slowly to the very lowest value, depending on the quality and capacity
of the battery.
9.
When the battery is fully loaded, the liquid inside the battery will begin to boil. You should stop the charging as soon
as possible at this point to reduce the risk of oxidation of the plates and keep the battery in good condition.
Warning!
It is recommended that you charge the battery slowly and check the voltage at the clamp
regularly. Stop charging when the voltage reaches 14.4 V / 28.8 V.
It is important that the equipment is used in accordance with the working cycle indicated on
the specification plate.
10.
When the charge is complete turn the charger off using the "Off" switch on the control panel, then disconnect the
charger from the mains power supply.
11.
Disconnect the charging clamps from the battery terminals. Remove the battery caps to release any gases built up
during the charging process and store the equipment in a safe dry environment for future use.
