2. Insert caster into
foot by placing stem
of
caster
into
the
holes provided. Apply
pressure and twsting
motion until casters
snap into place.
Caster will swivel easily when positioning is
correct (fig.4).
3. Return dust tank assembly upright.
POWER HEAD & ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY
1. Install the power
head assembly onto
the tank assembly as
shown (fig.5).
2. Rotate both latches up and press until you
hear them snap over the flanges on the tank.
3. Insert the flexible hose end into inlet of tank.
The hose should be snapped into place (fig.6).
For Model AS503 thread the end of the hose in
the tank inlet port.
4. To remove the hose from vacuum, press the
release button in the hose end and pull the
hose out of the vacuum inlet.
5. Attach the extension wands to the accesso-
ries end of the wands (fig.7).
6. Attach one of the cleaning accessories (de-
pending on your cleaning requirements) on
the extension wands.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
ATTENTION: The filter must always be in
correct position to reduce the risk of leaks and
possible damage to vacuum.
WET PICK-UP OPERATION
This cleaner requires only a minimum of con-
version when going from dry to wet pick-up.
Remove ALL dry pick-up filters. Wet pick up
requiere the foam filter (not standar on all
models) to be positioned over the lid cage
while vacuuming liquids. When picking up
several tanks full of liquid, the foam filter will
become saturated and misting may appear int
he exhaust air. At this time, you should dry the

foam filter or change to a dry foam filter to

eliminate the misting and possible dripping of
liquid around the lid. Ater completing a wet
pick-up job, raise the hose to drain any excess
liquid into the tank before shutting off. the
interior of the tank should be periodically
cleaned.
1. Always disconnect the plug from the wall
receptacle before removing the power head.
Place power head in an upside down position.
Remove foam filter by sliding it up and off the
lid cage.
2. Shake excess dust off foam filter with a rapid

up and down movement.
3. Hold foam filter under running water for a
minute or two, rinsing from the inside. A water
wash is not always required, depending on the
condition of the foam filter.
4. Gently wring out excess water, blot foam
filter with a clean towel and allow to dry. The
foam filter is now ready to install.
NOTE: Wet pick-up accessories should be
washed periodically, especially after picking
up wet, sticky kitchen accidents. This can be
accomplished with a warm solution of soap
and water.
DRY PICK-UP OPERATION

1. Install foam filter and reusable cloth dry fil-
ter to pick up dust and dry material only. If the
foam filter has been used to pick up liquids,
the foam filter must be cleaned and dried be-
fore installing for dry pick-up.
2. With power-head in
an upside down posi-
tion, slide foam filter
down over lid cage
pulling
filter completely cover

3. Slide cloth filter
down over the foam
