WARNING: Always put the throttle control in
stop position (A) when you stop the product
to prevent accidental start.
To control the operation direction
During operation, the product can pull to the sides. The
direction of the pull is related to the direction of rotation
of the grinding head and how the product is operated.
•
Always keep the 2 wheels on the ground during
operation of the product.
•
Apply the side forces on the handle to steer the
product.
•
Always hold the handle tightly with 2 hands to stay
stable and make sure that the product does not
move laterally.
To fill fuel
If available, use low-emission/alkylate gasoline. If low-
emission/alkylate gasoline is not available, use good
quality unleaded gasoline or leaded gasoline with octane
number not less than 90.
CAUTION: Do not use gasoline with an
octane number less than 90 RON (87 AKI).
This can cause damage to the product.
1. Open the fuel tank cap slowly to release the
pressure.
2. Fill slowly with a fuel can. If you spill fuel, remove it
with a cloth and let remaining fuel dry off.
3. Clean the area around the fuel tank cap.
4. Tighten the fuel tank cap fully. If the fuel tank cap is
not tightened, there is a risk of fire.
5. Move the product a minimum of 3 m (10 ft) from the
position where you filled the tank before a start.
2 different fuel tank caps
The product is supplied with 2 different fuel tank caps.
•
The fuel tank cap for operation is attached to the fuel
tank. This fuel tank cap has venting and lets the
engine operate.

The fuel tank cap for servicing is a fully sealed tank
cap. This fuel tank cap must only be used during
service, to prevent leakage of fuel.
Note: The engine stops if the fuel tank cap for
servicing is used for operation. With a fully sealed
tank cap there is no suction of fuel from the engine.
Note: An alternative decal for the sealed tank cap is
supplied with the product.
To do before you operate the product
1. Read the operator's manual carefully and make sure
that you understand the instructions.
2. Use personal protective equipment. Refer to
Personal protective equipment on page 6 .
3. Do daily maintenance. Refer to
schedule on page 13 .
4. Make sure that the product is assembled correctly
and is not damaged.
5. Put the grinder on the work area. Make sure that the
surface is horizontal.
6. Make sure that there are diamond tools on the
grinding head and that they are tightly attached.
7. Connect the dust extractor to the product. Refer to
To connect a dust extractor on page 11 .
8. Adjust the handlebar to an applicable operation
