5. Engine startup:
Always before starting up the engine, make sure that there are no devices
plugged into the generator.
1 Turn the aerator lever of the fuel cap to the position air passage open (ON).
This allows air to enter the reservoir to occupy the space of the gasoline
consumed by the engine.
AERATOR
During the first start up or if the group wasn't started up recently, open the
aerator and wait for a couple of minutes to ensure that the reservoir is taking air
and the gasoline is able to reach the carburetor.
NOTE: If the equipment is started without opening the aerator, the tank will
not intake air and a vacuum will be created in the reservoir, which will prevent
the passage of gasoline toward the engine.
WARNING: When transporting or storing the generator, turn the aerator
lever to closed (OFF).
2 Turn the fuel valve to the "ON" position.
