Care and cleaning

•
After use, unplug the Stick Hand Blender from the power outlet before cleaning.
Grip the plug, do not pull on the cord.
CAUTION: Do not use any aggressive cleaners, brushes with metal or nylon
bristles, sharp or metallic cleaning utensils such as knives, hard
scrapers and the like. They could damage the surfaces.

Disassemble all the parts.
2.
Use a damp cloth to wipe off the motor unit and the whisk gear box.
3.
Clean the mixing cup, blade guard, blades and whisk in warm water with some
dish soap.
WARNING!
WARNING: Risk of injury!
The blades are very sharp, mishandling them may lead to bodily injury.

Never touch the blades when the blender is plugged in.
•
Be especially careful during cleaning.

WARNING: Never submerge the appliance in water for cleaning.

Water that has penetrated the housing may cause a short circuit.
•
Make sure that no water penetrates the housing.
•
Never immerse the motor unit in water.
•
Never immerse the whisk gear box in water.
•
If necessary, wipe the outside of the Stick Hand Blender with a slightly damp
cloth, but make sure the cloth is not too wet to leave water residues. After wiping
down the appliance with the damp cloth, use a dry cloth or paper towel to dry it
thoroughly.
•
Do not put the motor unit or the whisk gear box in the dishwasher, as this will
destroy it.
Storing
•
For storage, make sure the unit is clean and dry. When storing the product,
loosely coil the cord. Do not wrap the cord around the appliance. Store in a cool,
dry location.
