GENERAL SAFETY RULES
WARNING: This manual must be read care-
fully and fully understood by anyone wishing to
operate this tool. All instructions must be fol-
lowed, omitting these instructions can cause se-
rious damage to the operator and / or the tool.
The employee is responsible for demanding that
the worker and other personnel in the work
area use safety equipment.
• Use safety glasses. Everyone in the area must
wear safety glasses at all times to prevent eye
injuries.
• Hearing protection should always be used to
prevent possible loss of hearing.
• Use clean, dry and regulated compressed air
at the recommended pressure (provided in the
technical data).
• Use roll staples made or recommended by the
tool supplier (refer to technical data).
• Never exceed the maximum recommended op-
erating pressure for the tool.
• Never use oxygen, carbon dioxide, combus-
tible gases or any other type of bottled gas as a
source of power.
• Always disconnect the air source before servic-
ing the tool, before undoing a jammed staple,
before changing the tool, before leaving the
work area or when passing the tool from one
worker to another.
• Regularly inspect the safety, the trigger and
that the springs have a free movement, never
use a tool that requires service.
• Connect the free flow male adapter to the
part of the tool where the air line is located, in
this way the tool will be depressurized when dis-
connecting the hose.
• Never load staples with the trigger lock de-
pressed, if the lock is struck it will result in a
staple being fired.
• Never point the tool at yourself or at any other
person.
• Never shoot a staple at a hard or brittle sur-
face, such as concrete, steel or tiles.
• Do not point the staples too close to the edge
of the workpiece or at a very large angle, so that
the staple can fly freely and strike causing per-
sonal injury or damage.
• Always make sure that the work area is well lit
to prevent any type of accident caused by poor
lighting.
• Never remove, decompose or cause the opera-
tion controls to become inoperable.

COMPRESSED AIR SYSTEMS
The proper use of the tool requires an adequate
amount of clean and dry compressed air. All the
compressed air has moisture and other contami-
nants that are depressing for the tool, which is
why it is advisable to use a regulating and lu-
bricating filter in the air line as close to the tool
as possible (4.5 m). The filter must be in good
condition to ensure optimum performance and
power. All parts of the system that supply the air
must be clean and free of contaminants.
The tool should only be connected to a com-
pressed air line where the maximum permissible
pressure can not be exceeded by a factor great-
er than 10%, for example, this can be achieved
by means of a pressure reduction valve that in-
cludes a safety valve that decreases the flow.
A free-flowing male coupling must be connect-
ed from the tool side of the system, a female
