Remove the thermometer from the ear.
The LCD display will show the result of the reading in the the rea-
ding unit you have selected in advance.
FOREHEAD reading mode:
Ensure that the forehead reading mode tip is firmly fitted onto
the product and that the following symbol does not appear on the
screen .
Place the reading tip perpendicular to the forehead by resting aga-
inst it (Fig. 5) Taking the reading at the centre of the forehead.
Press the temperature scanning button for 1 second to start the re-
ading. When you hear a beep, this means that the reading has been
completed. Remove the thermometer from the forehead.
The LCD display will show the result of the reading in the the rea-
ding unit you have selected in advance.
The instrument will automatically turn off after one minute. If you
wish to turn it off manually, press and hold down the on/off button
until the display shows the word "OFF" .
Repeat the reading if you do not trust the validity of the reading
values. In the event that you believe that the results are not correct,
take the appliance to a Technical Support Service.
As this is a home use product, it does not need to be calibrated.
The readings of this product are indicative only and you should
check any high temperature with your doctor.
Review memory of previous readings:
Press the on/off button. When you press the on/off button, the
screen will firstly display the memory (from 10 to 1), followed by
the result of this reading.
