Steering wheel-mounted controls
(SWC)
Note:
Only for vehicles without CAN bus.
Up to 8 functions of the device can be operated via
existing steering wheel-mounted controls. This requires
assigning the desired functions to the buttons of the
steering wheel-mounted controls.
Note:
The SWC function operates with analogue control
signals (passive resistive matrix). Depending on the
vehicle type, you may require an additional interface.
In the main menu (if necessary under Apps), select
the SWC app.

WLAN
The device can be connected with a network via WLAN.
In addition, the device can be used a mobile WLAN hot-
spot.
Note:
If the device s connected with the Internet via WLAN,
you can used Internet-based services and apps, e.g.
the preinstalled App Store and the Browser app. Both
are located in the main menu under Apps.

Activate WLAN in the system settings (see the chap-
ter "System settings", WLAN menu item).
Under the WLAN menu item, select the WLAN net-
work with which you want to connect the device, and
enter the required password as necessary.
In the system settings, select the Wireless & networks
menu item.
Select the Tethering & portable hotspot submenu.
Enable the Portable WLAN hotspot option.
Select the Set up WLAN hotspot menu item to specify
the network ID (SSID), security protocol and pass-
word for the WLAN hotspot.
