CAUTION
Holes provided for
accessory assembly
To avoid injury or property damage, do not exceed maximum shelf
capacity. Use care when moving cart on incline or rough surface.
Cart may tip if weight is not evenly distributed front to back and
side to side. Place more than half the total load weight on the
bottom shelf when possible. Wear safety goggles or glasses with
side shields.
Moving the cart on an incline or rough surface
Take care that the cart does not tip or become unbalanced when moving
it on an incline or rough surface. Do not exceed an incline of 10 degrees.
Secure all items on the cart before moving.
Using the Caster Brakes
To lock the rear casters, step down on
the locking levers. Be sure to lock both
casters to prevent cart from swiveling.
To unlock casters, push up the locking
lever.
Towing the cart
Only tow the cart using the handles. Do not tow or pull cart by the upright
braces. Do not modify the cart in any way. Drilling holes or modifying the
cart will lower the load capacity, which can cause the cart to collapse,
resulting in injury.
E
Lifting the cart
To lift the cart, place straps or forks inside and next to casters. Do not lift
loaded carts. Be sure all bystanders are moved away before lifting cart.
Securing Bottled Gas
Secure bottled gas to the cart to prevent the bottles from tipping off the front
deck. To secure bottled gas without modifying the cart, use the Trade Titan
Tank & Extinguisher Kit (Cat. No. 48-60-5105). The cart front deck can ac-
commodate tank sizes with an 7" or less diameter (for example, types B, R,
and R40). Secure bottled gas according to OSHA regulations 1926.350.
To reduce the risk of injury, contact a MILWAUKEE service facility
for ALL repairs and replacement parts.
Maintaining the Cart
Keep your cart in good repair by adopting a regular maintenance program.
Before use, examine the general condition of your cart. Check for loose
screws, misalignment, binding of wheels, broken parts and any other con-
dition that may affect its safe operation. Do not use a damaged cart. Tag
damaged carts "DO NOT USE" until repaired.
Cleaning
Keep the cart handles and wheels clean, dry and free of oil or grease. Use
only mild soap and a damp cloth to clean your cart since certain cleaning
agents and solvents are harmful to plastics. Some of these include: gasoline,
turpentine, lacquer thinner, paint thinner, chlorinated cleaning solvents, am-
monia and household detergents containing ammonia. Never use fl ammable
or combustible solvents around carts.
