8 Two-year guarantee
Dear Customer,
Thank you for deciding to purchase one of our prod-
ucts. For decades now the name Wella has stood for
tested quality and first-class service. We offer our
customers innovative and efficient products.
Wella manufactures high-quality appliances and
warrants the use of high-grade materials and care-
ful workmanship. We give two years' guarantee
from the date of purchase (invoice date) in the
event of defects in the quality of the product.
In addition to your contractual and statutory guar-
antee rights, Wella offers you a manufacturer's
guarantee on the following terms:
This manufacturer's guarantee applies for two years
from the date of purchase. It applies to deficiencies
(errors, defects) that are due to faults in materials
or workmanship.
Our manufacturer's guarantee excludes:

• deficiencies caused by incorrect operation, nor-
mal wear and tear, incorrect interference with the
product by unauthorised persons, or use of third-
party products during assembly which do not fit
or do not function perfectly. Examples of typical
parts that are regularly subject to wear and are
thus not covered by our manufacturer's guaran-
tee include in particular the rechargeable battery
and the blade head.
• Also excluded are deficiencies which have little
or no significant effect on the value or servicea-
bility of the appliance.
In the event of a deficiency covered by our manu-
facturer's guarantee occurring within our guarantee
period of two years from the date of purchase, we
will, at our option, either repair the faulty product
or provide a replacement.
It is a precondition for our manufacturer's guaran-
tee that you send or bring the product and proof of
purchase (invoice) to us within the guarantee peri-
od, in other words to the national sales companies
