Description

3.1 Scope of delivery

The AQUATEC FORTUNA is supplied with
the following parts (figures 1 to 3):
Seat (figure 1) consisting of:
1 Sideflap
2 Seat plate
3 Hinge for backrest
4 Spindle holder
5 Lifting scissors
6 Sliding rail
7 Spindle foot support
8 Base plate
Suction cups (figure 1)
9 Front suction cup
(single-strap cup with head)

3.2 Accessories

The following accessories are available for
your AQUATEC FORTUNA:
Height adapter (figure 12)
The height adapter (3, figure 12) is required
for baths with a tub height of more than
42 cm. With the adapter, the height of the
AQUATEC FORTUNA can be adjusted in
steps of 2, 4 or 6 cm to ensure that the seat of
the AQUATEC FORTUNA is level with the
edge of the bath.
For installation instructions for the height
adapter, please refer to chapter 5.5.
Pommel unit (stopper) (figure 16)
The pommel unit prevents the user from slip-
ping from the seat. The pommel unit can be
easily mounted on the seat plate.
The pommel unit is available in two sizes.
Sideflap diverter (figure 17)
The sideflap diverter is mounted onto the
handrail of the bath. It serves as a guide rail
and ensures that the seat is not blocked by
the handrail while the AQUATEC FORTUNA
is lifted.
Head support/special backrest (figure 18)
The head support (1, figure 18) supports the
head and neck of the person using the bath-
lift. In combination with the adjustable side
sections of the special backrest (2, figure 18),
it provides additional safety.
The head support must be secured to the
backrest by means of the supplied mounting
set.
Suction cup (no figure)
For bathes with anti-glide or dirt-repellent
base, we provide special large-size suction
cups.
