Dust removal
Your tool offers two ways to remove the dust.
1. A bag can be attached to the dust outlet to receive the dust (item 12 - figure 2);
2. A vacuum cleaner can be used by fixing its hose to the dust outlet.
Tool operation
1. Adjust the cutting depth;
2. Place the tool on the workpiece. Make sure only the front base plate is placed on the workpiece and the blades
don't touch the workpiece.
3. Turn on the tool. The tool must operate at full speed before the blades touch the workpiece.
4. Hold the tool firmly with both hands and move it forward with a continuous movement.
5. Use the tool with its base plate resting on the workpiece.
6. Do not tilt the tool to avoid undesired planing marks.
7. Keep the ventilation grills clean to allow better motor ventilation.
8. Before turning the tool off, it must be lifted from the workpiece!
Rabbet
1. Select the desired cutting depth
2. Select the rabbet depth by adjusting the depth guide (Item 11 - figure 2),
3. Place the tool on the workpiece
4. Start planing
Application advices
1. When working with materials that make too much dust, a receiving bag must be used.
2. Use the V groove on the front base plate to plane corners (item 8 - figure 1)
3. Turn the depth adjustment knob (item 6) to select the desired cutting depth.
4. Always try first on a piece of scrap wood.
5. Obtain better results cutting rabbets by using a guide fence to adjust the width of the rabbet.
6. PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
Maintenance and cleaning:
Before performing any cleaning or maintenance, unplug the tool from the power grid;
After use, clean the tool with a damp cloth (do not pour water on the tool) and store it in a clean, dry place
protected from moisture and dust. Keep your tool out of reach of children and people unfamiliar with the use of
the equipment.
Transportation:
Do not pull or carry the tool by the electric cord or allow its contact with edges, sharp elements, rough surfaces,
oil or chemicals that may damage its flexible and insulating properties;
Do not move the tool with the trigger locked in the "on" position;
Repairs:
If required to perform any repair or replacement of the electric motor brushes, contact the nearest Schulz assis-
tance. Original parts Schulz must be used. The use of non-original parts results in warranty loss and may cause
damage to the equipment or injury.
