7. ENVIRONMENTAL GUIDELINES AND RECOMMENDATIONS
1. Wastewater Disposal

ronmental protection and healthy quality of life in compliance with the regulatory requirements of the current
legislation.
2. Disposal of Solid Waste (large parts and product packaging)
The generation of solid waste is one aspect that must be considered by the user, in the use and the maintenance
of the equipment. The impacts caused in the environment may cause significant changes in the soil quality, water
quality in surface and subsoil and the health of the population, through improper waste disposal (on streets,
water receiving bodies, landfills or plots, etc). Schulz Compressores S.A. recommends the management of the
waste derived from the product from its generation, handling, and treatment to its final disposal. A suitable
management should consider the following stages: quantification, qualification, classification, source reduction,
collection and selective collection, recycling, storage, transportation treatment and final destination. Waste
disposal should be done in compliance to regulatory requirements of current legislation.
