position only!
Opening and closing the light fitting
Cut the apparatus off the voltage before
opening it.
In offshore installations and/or high damp
workrooms. make sure the cover remains
open the minimum possible time during
installation, repairing and maintenance
operations.
The enclosure of the floodlight is opened by means
of four screws (manipulated by a screwdriver)
located in the front of th cover. Later, the cover pivots
on hings located on the lower part, showing all
electronic equipment of the floodlight, including
terminals for mains connection.
Put special attention when closing the floodlight,
taking care that it is in perfect operational state with
the porpouse of mantaining its original degree of
protection.
Mounting dimensions: See Fig. 1.
Mounting accessories: See
Cooper Crouse-Hinds, S.A. catalogue.
Mains connection
Connect the conductorsto the terminals PE, N, L1, (L,
L2,L3) in accordance with the terminal marking. With
single connection of the terminal no bending (loop) of
the conductor required! Also tighten vacant terminals!
Use only glands corresponding to the entries, ensuring
a perfect mounting to avoid the penetration of srtenge
bodies.
In offshore installations and/or high damp workrooms
it is better to use glands made of brass with niquel
protection, stainless steel or plastic.
Installing the lamp
Use only lamps indicated in table 1,

-measuring current: max< 20 M
Once having checked all functions, close propperly
the floodling and connectthe mains supply
6. Maintenance
The user is responsible of the safe use of the
floodlinght.
Observe the national regulations applicable
to the maintenance, servicing and test of
apparatus for explosive atmospheres as well
asthe general rules of engineering!
For dust explosive application, pay special
attention don't have present dust layers
above 5mm on side of the apparatus.
Servicing
When servicing, in particular those components
that affect the explosion protection, will have to
cheked, e.g.:
Housing and proyective bowl for any cracks or
damages.
Gasket between enclosure and cover-glass for
its perfect condition.
Terminals and blanking plugs for their firm fit.
Lamp replacement: Keep adecuate replacelamp,
type and power, see table 1.
