Congratulations! You are the owner of a carefully designed and manufactured equipment.
We thank you for having purchased our EPC200 processed system.
It is VERY IMPORTANT that you read this manual before connecting the unit in order to
obtain its maximum performance.
We recommend our authorised Technical Services whenever any maintenance task
should be needed so that optimum operation shall be achieved.

2. INTRODUCTION

The EPC (ECLER PROCESSED CABINET) acoustic system has been specially designed for
those applications where a high sound pressure level, suitable for both fixed and mobile
installations, as well as an easy fixing and transport and a very compact acoustic cabinet is needed.
The EPC200 processor performs an active division of the audible spectrum (3 way),
equalizes each band independently and a phase adjustment can be done for each way. This process
is combined with the ANTICLIP circuits installed in the SPM amplifiers witch are adjusted for the
optimum THD for each loudspeaker. So, each loudspeaker operates within the its best response
and efficiency range and, in consequence, minimum risk of damage.

EPC cabinets, main characteristics:
- Bass Reflex acoustic cabinets optimized with the SIMBOX acoustic design program.
They are constructed with plywood witch ensures a high firmness and a reasoneable
weight.
- Internal reinforcements have been added to obtain a greater rigidity of the cabinet thus
avoiding acoustic colouration of the enclosure.
- Five coats of rugged paint protect the cabinet and give the finish.
- The loudspeakers are protected by a concave grille to supress diffraction and a foam
protects the loudspeaker from dust.
