Fitting E 499 for
suction and rins‐
ing cannulae
The E 499 is for reprocessing rinsing and suction cannulae, including
suction breakers. It comes with its own instructions.
If several fittings are being used to reprocess hollow instruments at
the same time, check that the number complies with validation re‐
quirements.
The maximum number specified for validation must not be excee‐
ded.

Test point for measuring water pressure

The test point on the front left can be used for measuring water pres‐
sure for performance checks and for validation according to EN ISO
15883.
To measure water pressure replace the existing fixture with a Luer

Lock adapter, e.g. E 447.
