• Do not use the toaster but to toast bread.
• Do not spread butter or any other fat on the bread
before insert it in the toaster.
• Bread may burn; bread toasters must not be used in
the proximity of, or under curtains or other flammable
materials. They must be kept under surveillance.
• This appliance is not intended for using with an
external timer or a separate system of remote control.
• The cleaning and maintenance done by users, can not
be done by children unless they are over 8 years and
they are under supervision.
• This appliance has been designed for domestic use
only.
• If the cable were to deteriorate it must be changed by
an Authorised Service Centre.
INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
• Pass the cable cord through the guide at the bottom of the toaster.
• Connect the appliance into the mains and select the toasting level with the function selector (2).
• In order to check the desired toasting you require, we recommend you to set the function selector (2)
by turning it clockwise to a medium position ( Medium (MEDIO) indicated zone) modifying it later on to
adapt it to your taste (area indicated Light (LIGERO) or High (ALTO).
• Put the bread into the slot (5) and press the control knob (1) down.
• To toast frozen bread set the function selector (2) in the indicated area DESCONGELAR (Defrost) and
press the control knob (1).
• Once the bread is toasted, the slices of toast will appear in the top of the slot (5). To facilitate the
extraction of them and prevent from touching hot metal parts, lift the control knob (1) and remove
them.
• If the toasting bread is cold, set the function selector (2) in the area indicated as RECALENTAR (Reheat)
and repeat the toasting process by pressing the control knob (1) down.
• If you wish to interrupt the toasting process, press the "cancel" button (3). Once pressed the toaster will
disconnect itself automatically and the slices of toast will appear in the upper slot.
• While the toaster is working it is important to keep the crumb-collector tray (4) in place.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
• Before you proceed to cleaning make sure the toaster is unplugged from the mains and allow it to cool.
• Take out the crumb-collector tray (4) by pulling from it and clean out the breadcrumbs.
• Replace the tray in its place.
• Do not insert any type of object.
• Use a dry cloth to clean the exterior.
