EXTENSIBLE TABLE
STRUCTURE AND IRONMONGERY
Steel is a material that becomes naturally oxidized if exposed to external agents (as
humidity, sea wind, etc).
To prevent oxidation, it is necessary to do the maintenance of the ironmongery of the
furniture. For this reason, the anti-oxidant spray can be helpful if used at the beginning
and at the end of every season (you can find it in all hardware shops or bricolage
stores). You can increase the usage up to every 3 months if the furniture is exposed to
sea wind.
If, in spite of everything, the rust arises, it can be easily eliminated thanks to white
vinegar or citric acid. You can also use a cloth soaked in car polish to remove the rust.
Apply the anti-oxidant spray regularly to preserve the ironmongery.

Properties
Aluminium is a high resistant and light material and it does not become oxidized.
Manufacture and assembly
Manufacture and assembly are made leaving a backlash between the product parts.
For this reason, it is a normal fact to see a space of a few millimetres between the parts
(between the axles, between the wheels, etc).
This space is necessary, but it can cause a geometrical dissimilarity.
The product does not lose its functionality because of it.
Aspect dissimilarities
The whole product is made and assembled on an industrial scale, starting from its
components, which surfaces have been processed before the assembly. These metal
elements cannot be completely regular, but they can show some dissimilarities that
come from the surface process and the assembly. Its ultimate aspect must have
dissimilarities.
b. Caution
Do not place hot objects on the table, they could cause permanent marks on its surface
(decolorization, deformation, cracks, etc). Always use the table mats.
c. Maintenance, aging, storage
It is a normal fact that the product wears out naturally, because of use and time, for
example: a colour and surface change, the mechanical functionality or the screws
loosening.
