INSERTING THE ACCESSORIES

CHARGING THE BATTERY

If the battery has not been used before or the bat-
tery is down, the battery can be charged by con-
necting to the EXT DC socket of the charging de-
vice as shown in the image. If DC power of 12~16
volts is available, optional DC adaptor can be used
by inserting into the lighter input to charge the
battery. The charging level will be shown on the
screen while the battery is being charged and TX/
BUSY indicator will glow in red color (see image 4).
When the charging is completed, TX indicator will
glow in green color.
WARNING!
• Use the charging device only to charge the radio battery.
• The charging device may cause sounds in the TV and radio signals. Therefore, do not
charge the battery near such devices.
• Charge the battery in places with the temperature of 41°F - 95°F (+5°C - +35°C). The places
excluding the range of this temperature may cause damage on the battery.
• If the battery is not charged within a few hours, there is a problem with it. In case of such
situations, do not continue charging the battery and contact us.
• Remove the battery if you will not use it for a long time. Otherwise, the battery can leak
down and your radio can be damaged.
• The battery will be run out of when not used for a long time and it should be charged up
to half once in every six months.
