Programmable keys

Speed dialing

To store a number in one of the programmable keys, keep the handset in its
cradle and follow the steps below:
1. Press the keys for the number you wish to save (for example: 2, 0, 0).
2. Next, press the key you wish to program (press one of the 10 program-
mable keys) for 5 seconds.
3. To use the programmed key to make a call, first remove the handset from
its cradle and then press the key.

Voice mail key (red bar)

To program the red bar, follow the procedures described above.
Note: this key also indicates the presence of voice mail messages (depending
on the type of PABX notification system).

Special Features

Changing the dialing mode (Tone or Pulse)

To change the dialing mode from Tone to Pulse, or vice-versa, keep the handset
in its cradle and follow the steps below:
1. Press the following sequence of keys:
2. Then, press the number 2 key for three seconds.

Adjusting the ringer volume

In order to change the ringer volume, place the handset in its cradle and
press the Volume key (each time you press the key, the volume will increase
to the next level).
There are four ringer volume levels. To adjust the ringer volume, keep the
handset in its cradle and press the Volume key (each time you press it, the
volume will increase one level until the fourth level, after which it will go back
down to the lowest level, again).
