MEANING
Indicates an imminently hazardous situation, which, if not avoided, will result in death or serious
injury.
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation, which, if not avoided, could result in death or serious
injury.
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation, which, if not avoided, may result in minor or mod-
erate injury.
(Without Safety Alert Symbol) Indicates important information not related to an injury hazard,
such as a situation that may result in property damage.
DESIGNATION/EXPLANATION
Indicates a potential personal injury hazard.
To reduce the risk of injury, user must read and understand operator's manual before
using this product.
Always wear eye protection with side shields marked to comply with ANSI Z87.1 or
equivalent standard.
Do not expose to rain or use in damp locations.
Do not dispose of electric tools together with household waste material. Electric tools
and electronic equipment that have reached the end of their life must be collected
separately and returned to an environmentally compatible recycling facility. Check with
your local authority or retailer for recycling advice and collection point.
