Connections
1.1 Front panel
1 7-band graphic equalizer for frequency response
compensation of the left output channel
2 Selector buttons for the inputs of channels 1 to 4
Button not pressed ( ):
The input LINE of the channel is selected.
Button pressed ( ):
For channels 1 and 2 the input PHONO is se-
lected, for channels 3 and 4 the input CD.
3 VU meter
4 7-band graphic equalizer for frequency response
compensation of the right output channel
5 4-pole XLR jack LAMP for connection of a con-
sole lamp (12 V/5 W max.)
6 On/off switch POWER
7 XLR input jack DJ MIC (unbalanced) for connec-
tion of a DJ mono microphone
[If a DJ microphone is connected to the 6.3 mm
jack DJ MIC (27) at the rear of the unit, this jack
will be switched off.]
8 Treble control HIGH and bass control BASS for
the DJ microphone connected to the jack DJ MIC
[(7) resp. (27)]

channel press the button PFL (18) of the channel
and turn the control MIX to its extreme left posi-
tion (position PFL).
For monitoring the current music programme
ahead of the master fader (19) turn the control
MIX to its extreme right position (position PROG.).
22 Level control for the headphones connected to
the jack PHONES (23)
23 6.3 mm jack PHONES for connection of stereo
headphones (impedance ≥ 8 Ω)

2 Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
Dieses Gerät entspricht der Richtlinie für elektroma-
gnetische Verträglichkeit 89/336/ EWG und der Nie-
derspannungsrichtlinie 73/ 23/ EWG.
Das Gerät wird mit lebensgefährlicher Netzspan-
nung (230 V~) versorgt. Nehmen Sie deshalb nie
selbst Eingriffe im Gerät vor. Durch unsachgemä-
ßes Vorgehen besteht die Gefahr eines elektri-
schen Schlages. Außerdem erlischt beim Öffnen
des Gerätes jeglicher Garantieanspruch.
Beachten Sie auch unbedingt die folgenden Punkte:
Das Gerät ist nur zur Verwendung im Innen-
bereich geeignet. Schützen Sie es vor Feuchtig-
keit und Hitze (zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbe-
reich 0 – 40 °C).
Nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb bzw. zie-
hen Sie sofort den Netzstecker, wenn:
1. sichtbare Schäden am Gerät oder an der Netz-
anschlußleitung vorhanden sind,

Safety Notes
The unit corresponds to the directive for electromag-
netic compatibility 89/336/EEC and to the low volt-
age directive 73/23/EEC.
The unit is supplied with hazardous mains voltage
(230 V~). Leave servicing to authorized personnel
only. Inexpert handling may cause an electric
shock hazard. Furthermore, any guarantee claim
will expire if the unit has been opened.
Please observe the following items in any case:
The unit is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it
against humidity and heat (admissible ambient
temperature range 0 – 40 °C).
Do not operate the unit or immediately disconnect
the plug from the mains socket
1. if there is visible damage to the unit or to the
mains cable.
2. if a defect might have occurred after the unit
was dropped or suffered a similar accident.
