8. Faults

DANGER
Electric current
Fatal injuries due to incorrectly connected control system and drive unit.
» Before starting any maintenance work, remove the battery from the workbench.
» Maintenance of the drive unit, control system and battery may be performed only by an electri-
cian.
» If the connection cables are damaged, do not continue to use the workbench.
» Use only the battery supplied.
» Insert the connection plugs only into the appropriate connection sockets.

Maintenance work

Check the workbench, control system, drive unit
and battery for external damage.
Check that no cables are dragging on the floor.
Check the control system, drive unit and battery,
together with the screw fastenings on the work-
bench, for secure attachment and correct opera-
tion.
Clean the side panels, metal fronts, drawers and
feet with paint cleaner.
Clean the worktop with a damp cloth.
Clean off external dirt using a dry cloth or a cloth
moistened with mild soap solution.
When cleaning, ensure no liquids penetrate
into the control system.
Block access to the workbench and prevent its
use.
Have damaged components and accessory parts
replaced immediately.
