Check before connecting the appliance if:
• the supply voltage matches the voltage on the
nameplate;
• the socket and power supply are suited for the
appliance;
• the plug of the cord fits in the socket;
• the appliance is placed on a solid flat surface.
Have the electrical installation checked by a
licensed professional if you are not sure everything
is in order.
• This appliance is not intended for use by per-
sons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of expe-
rience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
• This appliance is manufactured according to
CE safety standards. Nevertheless, as with any
other electrical device, care must be taken.
• Never cover the air inlet and outlet grill.
• Empty the water container before moving the
appliance.
• Never let the appliance come into contact with
chemicals.
• Never let the appliance come into contact with
water, sprinkle with water or submerge in
water.
• Don't put foreign object in the openings of the
appliance.
• Always disconnect from the mains before
the appliance of a part has to be cleaned of
replaced.
• NEVER connect the appliance with an extension
cord. If there is no earthed socket available,
