• Connect the positive of the reversing light to the red cable coming from the control box, to the red cable from the camera
and to the red cable from the display. Connect the black wire from the control box to the negative. Connect the negative
from the display to the mass of the vehicle.
• Connect the display to the control box.
• Put the gearlever in reverse. At this time, the display should show the image picked up by the camera and a white dot: the
parking assistance system is under test. Test the system by walking behind the vehicle at a distance of 1m. The display
should indicate the distance and the buzzer should sound accordingly, provided that all the parts have been correctly
installed and connected. In case of problems, such as continuous alarm, erroneous distance display or unclear image,
check the installation and connection of each part first. If the problems persist, please contact your dealer.
5. Remark
• Pay attention to the size of the hole saws: Ø 25mm for the camera, Ø 22mm for the sensors.
• When installing the parking assistance system, the car should be shut down.
• The performance of the parking assistance system may be affected by heavy rain, by hot and cold temperatures, on gravel,
bumpy and sloping roads, when the sensors are covered with snow or ice, when in the line of the towing hook, or with
presence of other ultrasonic sources. Be careful in those situations.
• Test the parking assistance system prior to installing it into your car.
