All persons, working, using or maintaining the table demagnetizers have
to be qualified and read the operating instruction carefully. The operating
instruction includes all Informations for a safe and opti-mised use of the
demagnetizers. It is not only necessary for correct operation, but also for
your personal safety.
Persons with cardiac pacemakers are not allowed to work within magnetic
fields. Persons with active implants must maintain a minimum safety distance
of 110 mm to the pole face. From this distance, the field strength will be below
the permissible limit value of 0.5 mT at 50 Hz. The user must ensure that this limit
value is appropriate for the active implant! No harmful defect on the healthy
human organism has at present not been reported.
When using demagnetizers, please be aware of the potential danger for
electronic devices, computers, watches and data carriers.
The demagnetizers are used to remove residual magnetism from steel workpieces.
The device produces an alternating magnetic field (50 Hz). By slowly reducing the
field intensity to zero, the residual magnetism is reduced significantly.
The table demagnetizers 890.01 are only to be used for demagnetizing
of workpieces for continuous and periodic duty. The duty cycle is 100%
at natural convection. According the protection grade IP21, the device
should be adequately protected against splash water. Never let a
workpiece lie on a switched-on demagnetizer!
The table demagnetizes can be used as follows:
As a table top device.

For this, take care for sufficient convective flow of heat.
Built-in underneath or above a conveyor belt.

Both built-in underneath and above a conveyor belt. In this case,
u
the workpiece will be demagnetized from 2 opposite sides at the same
time. In this way, thick/high workpieces can be demagnetized in one
passage. For this, please connect one device in opposite polarity.
For built in situations on site, please take care of sufficient cooling.
u
All additional ports within the magnetic field have to be made out
of non-magnetic material.
