inspection must be carried out in order to determine that the press jaw is fully closed at the end
of the press cycle.
3.6
To turn the press jaw
The press jaw can be turned through 270° depending on the application.
3.7
Operation
Use only system-compatible press fittings and press jaws designed for them. The nominal size
of the press jaw must be identical with the nominal size of the press fitting.
When inserting the pipe / press fitting system, there is a risk of crush injuries for the
fingers or other body parts near the press jaw!
Push the press fitting on to the pipe (1). Pull the press jaw apart and insert the pipe with the
press fitting at right angles.
There must be no foreign bodies between the press contour and the fitting. If you fail to
ensure this, the pressing process will not produce a perfect joint!
Press and hold the ON button until the moulding cycle is finished (2). The motor cut out indi-
cates the end of the moulding cycle.
Push the press jaw apart and take the machine off the joint (3).
Do not start the machine while the piston retracts or the emergency shutdown is pressed!

Battery / Charger
Power connection:
Connect only to single-phase a.c. current and only to the system voltage indicated on the rating
plate. It is also possible to connect to sockets without ground, as the design conforms to safety
class II.
Charging the battery:
ATTENTION! Overvoltage can damage or destroy the batteries and charger.
Always observe correct voltage!
The lithium-ion battery can be charged at any charging level and charging can be interrupted at
any time without damaging the battery (no memory effect).
Insert plug of the battery charger into a wall socket. LED (4) red lights up
Connect the battery (1) to the battery charger (2): LED (3) green lights up. Battery is
charged . LED (3) green flashes: Battery is fully charged (For charging time, see Technical
Data).
Remove the battery.
Disconnect plug from the wall socket.
Storage:
The place of storage must be inaccessible to children.
Remove the battery.
Disconnect plug from the wall socket.
Store battery charger in a dry, frost-proof location.
Store the battery only in a charged state! Fully recharge the battery after 12 months of stor-
age, at the latest!
Troubleshooting:
Before evaluating faults, disconnect the plug!
- LED (3) red flashes: Battery temperature outside the permissible charging temperature (5°C to
45°C / 41°F-113°F).
The Charging will begin automatically once the battery reaches the correct charging tempera-
ture.
