Operating Instructions
BR 1211
This does not apply for the code »0«, which is a
priority function. When a smoke detector is set for
the code number »0«, then this device can receive
radio signals from devices with all other codes
after a 3 minute delay.
Special Alarm-Function
In order to more easily localise the source of an
alarm, those detectors that are networked with
detectors that have already sounded only sound
the full alarm signal after a delay of 30 seconds.
During this delay, the detectors linked with
detectors that have already sounded their alarm
give alarm through a blinking optical display 1 x
about every 2 seconds and by emitting a loud
peeping sound about every 6 seconds.
Alarm Memory Function
If a detector signals and alarm due to smoke or a
disruption (but not from pressing the test button),
then the alarm incident is recorded and stored in
this detector for up to 12 hours. The stored alarm
will be indicated every 8 seconds by a simultane-
ous blinking and peeping sound. The detector's
regular function is not impeded during this time.
The memory can be erased by pressing the test
button until you hear an alarm signal.
