4.2 Filling up of fog fluid
When filling up with fog fluid, the unit must not be
connected to the mains. Disconnect the plug from
the mains socket first!
The unit is not splashproof. If fluid penetrates the
inside of the housing by accident, do not set the fog
machine into operation, but have it first checked
and cleaned by skilled, authorized personnel.
1) The following fluids by "img Stage Line" are suit-
able:
NF-500L
"long life", 5 litre container
NF-500SL "super long life", 5 litre container
Only the fluids as stated must be used, otherwise
no liability for a correct operation can be taken over!
2) The following fragances by "img Stage Line" may
be added to the fog fluid:
NF-10 apple
NF-20 cherry
NF-30 vanilla
NF-40 woodruff
A bottle of fragance is sufficient for 5 l of fog fluid.
Do not add more fragrance as otherwise the fog
machine may get clogged.
3) Screw off the tank cap (6), and fill in the fog fluid. If
fluid should flow beside the tank, immediately wipe
it off with a dry cloth so that it does not get inside the
housing.
4) Tightly close the tank again.
4.3 Operation
The operation must only be made by adults. Never
leave the fog machine in operation without super-
vision.
Never operate the fog machine without fog fluid.
There is danger of overheating (danger of fire) and
danger of a possible damage to the unit! Always
observe the fluid level indication (5).
1) Connect the plug (13) of the remote control to the
jack (4) on the rear side of the fog machine.
2) Connect the unit to a mains socket (230 V~/50 Hz)
by means of the mains cable (1). Switch on the fog
machine with the POWER switch (3). The unit
heats up for approx. 5 minutes. Only then fog can
be emitted. During the heating-up stage the indica-
tion (11) of the remote control lights up.
3) As soon as the indication (11) extinguishes, the fog
can be emitted. For this purpose keep the push-
button (12) on the remote control pressed. As long
as the push-button is kept pressed, fog is emitted
and the indication (11) lights up.
Caution! By subsequent dripping of fluid, the unit
may still emit some fog even after releasing the
push-button (12).
4) The fog may be emitted for approx. one minute
without interruption. Then the unit must heat up
again – the indication (11) lights up again. During
the heating-up stage no fog can be emitted.
Even if there is no output of fog, the unit must heat
up in the meantime.
5) After the operation switch off the fog machine.
Caution! By subsequent dripping of fluid, the unit
may still emit fog for a short time until one minute
has passed.
6) For transporting the unit, let it cool down first and
empty the tank completely!
5 Maintenance
For the outside cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, by
no means chemicals or water which could run into the
unit.
Fog machines are susceptible to clogging due to
the viscid fog fluid and the high evaporating tempera-
ture. Therefore, it is recommended to have a cleaning
liquid consisting of 80 % distilled water and 20 % vine-
gar run through the unit after approx. 40 operating
hours.
1) Switch off the fog machine. Disconnect the mains
plug from the mains socket, and let the unit cool
down.
2) Completely empty the tank.
3) Remove deposit at the output nozzle with vinegar.
4) Fill the tank with the cleaning liquid as indicated.
5) Place the fog machine the best way so that the fog
can stream outside through an open window or
door. Operate the unit with the cleaning liquid until
the tank is empty.
