Troubleshooting
Go through this section if you experience difficulty in operating the cradle. Should any
problem persist, contact the appropriate PSP™ customer service helpline which can be
found within every PSP™ format software manual.
Check the following first
Check that the PSP™ system is properly connected to the cradle.
Check that the AC adaptor is securely inserted into the cradle and electrical outlet.
Check that the video output cable is securely inserted into the devices.
There is no image or audio output to the TV.
The video output setting may be set to display video on the PSP™ system instead of
the TV. Press the DISPLAY SELECT button on the cradle to switch to TV output.
The remote control is not working.
Check whether the remote control battery has been exhausted. If so, replace the
battery with a new lithium coin battery (CR2025).
To operate the TV with the remote control, the manufacturer of the TV needs to be
specified (
page 18).
Check whether there is an object blocking the space between the remote control and
the cradle.
