If a DC lens is used, adjust the optimum
video level by turning the trimming control
LEVEL (4) with a small screw driver.
For AI lenses the level control for the
video signal is located at the lens.

8.1 Backlight compensation (BLC)

The object to be monitored will be underex-
posed in case of backlight, i. e. light that falls
directly or diagonally upon the front of the
lens. This also applies if the object is in front of
a very bright background. The backlight com-
pensation (BLC) prevents this effect. To switch
on this function, set the switch BLC (9) to po-
sition ON.
