mower, remove the wire from the
spark plug.
NOTE: In this instruction book, left and right
describe the location of a part with the oper-

the two screws from the rear of the frame.
Use these two holes to attach the bagger
mount (1).
2. Attach the bottom of the bagger mount (1)
to the frame with the bolt (2) and nut (3). Do
not tighten at this time.
3. Attach the back of the bagger mount (1) to
the frame with bolts (4), washers (5), and
nuts (6). Make sure the fasteners are tight.
NOTE: For easier assembly, use a ratchet
and socket to tighten the bolts.

5. (Figure 2) Mount the channel (7) in the
bagger mount (1).
IMPORTANT: If you remove the grass
bagger to mount a different pull-behind
attachment, do not remove the bagger
mount (1). Use the hitch pin hole in the
bagger mount to attach a different attach-
ment. If the bagger mount (1) is removed,
make sure to install the fasteners in the
holes in the rear of the frame.
6. (Figure 3) Install the channel pin (9) fully
into the right side of the channel (7). Rotate
the channel pin (9) counterclockwise to lock
the channel (7) in place.
7. Mount the outer tube (10) to the channel (7)
with bolts (12), washers (13), and nuts 14.
8. (Figure 4) Mount the center tube 15 to the
channel (7) with bolts (12), washers (13),
and nuts 14. Make sure the fasteners are
tight.
9. Attach the caps 16 to the ends of the tubes.
How To Mount The Cover
1. (Figure 5) Assemble the hinge (1) to the
cover (2) with bolt (3) and nut (4). Push the
hinge (1) toward the top of the cover (2).
Tighten the fasteners.
2. Attach the handle (5) to the cover (2) with
bolt (6) and nut (7). Tighten the fasteners.
3. Set the cover (2) in the operating position on
top of the outer tube. Fasten the hinge (1) to
the channel (10) with pin (11) and hair pin
(12).

How To Mount The Extension Tube
1. (Figure 7) Attach latch pin (2) to the exten-
sion tube (1) with bolt (3) and nut (4).
2. Move the lift lever to the highest cut position.
3. Disconnect the wire from the spark plug.
Raise the deflector (5). Rotate the blade
away from the discharge opening.
The blade has sharp edges. Always
be careful of the position of the
blade.
4. (Figure 8) Slide the extension tube (1)
under the deflector bracket (6). Mount the
extension tube (1) to the top of the mower
housing with bolt (7) and nut (8).
5. Attach the extension tube (1) to the side of
the mower housing with bolt (7) and nut (8).
Make sure the fasteners are tight.
6. Connect the wire to the spark plug.
How To Mount The Connector Tube
1. (Figure 9) Assemble the handle (2) and the
rubber latch (3) to the connector tube (1).
Hold screws (4) and (5) with a short screw-
driver and tighten locknuts (6) and (7).
2. Slide the connector tube (1) into the elbow
(8). Align the hole (9) in the connector tube
(1) with the hole (9) in the elbow (8).
3. Fasten the elbow (8) to the connector tube
(1) with screw (10). Tighten screw (10) until
the head of the screw touches the elbow (8).
4. Move the lift lever to the lowest position.
5. (Figure 10) Hold the handle (2) on the con-

(8) through the hole in the cover (11).
6. (Figure 11) Align the rubber latch (3) with
the latch pin (12).
7. Slide the connector tube (1) over the exten-
sion tube (13).
8. Lock the rubber latch (3) to the latch pin
(12).
NOTE: To help the elbow (8) slide when you
