Installation
Installation of the central alarm unit:
1. Insert the SIM card into the SIM card slot.
Note: Make sure that the SIM card supports 2G GSM network
with calling, SMS and caller display functions, and is not
protected by a pincode.
2. Download and install the "o3 Alarm" application from App Store
or Google Play.
3. Create an account. Set the preferred language in the
application.
4. Test the alarm system and the paired accessories.
5. Enter and save the phone numbers and names in "System
settings".
6. Pair the new accessories with the central alarm unit:
• Enter the disarm password (default password: 1234).
• Press the "Voice Memo" button.
• Activate the accessories:
• Remote control: Press any button.
• PIR motion detector: Press the "Test" button repeatedly.
• Door/Window detector: Separate the magnet from the
transmitter.
• RFID-tag: Hold the RFID-tag close to the RFID-tag reader.
• Wireless siren (option): Set the siren to pairing state and
press the "Arm" button on the central alarm unit.
• Other accessories: Refer to the manual of the accessories.
Installation of the PIR motion detector:
1. Remove the battery activation strip.
2. Press the "Test" button to test the device is active.
3. Mount the PIR motion detector at location 2 m from the floor.
4. Press the "Test" button to set the detection range.
5. If necessary, adjust the angle of the PIR motion detector to the
upright position.
Note: Do not mount the PIR motion detector facing heat sources
or moving objects.
Alarm zones
1. Normal zone (Jumpers on D0, D1 and D2):
When the alarm system is in arm mode or home arm mode, the
detectors that are set to the normal zone operate normally.
When a motion is detected, the PIR motion detector triggers an
alarm.
2. Home zone (Jumpers on D1 and D2):
When the alarm system is in home arm mode, the detectors that
are set to the home zone are disarmed and the detectors set to
other zones are armed.
3. Single delay zone (Jumpers on D1 and D3):
The detector set to the single delay zone activates the alarm system at
the specified time after being triggered. The time delay can be set in
the settings.
4. 24-hour zone (Jumpers on D0, D1 and D3):
The detector set to the 24-hour zone activates the alarm system
immediately when an intrusion is detected.
Note: The alarm system is activated irregardless of whether the system
is armed or disarmed.
