Assembling the PVC wall fitting
Apply PTFE tape to thread. Screw the reducer into the adapter and hand tighten. Using a tool, tighten one more full turn.
Additional tightening is unnecessary and could break the adapter.
Before solvent cementing the adapter to the wall fitting, do not forget to check that the length of the wall fitting is suitable
for your installation.
If the wall fitting needs to be lengthened, add a length of PVC tube and a PVC sleeve (not supplied).
Installing the wall fitting
The configuration in which the PVC wall fitting is installed depends on the type of pool (concrete or vinyl liner).
- Installation of concrete version: use the flange and screws + cover. No need to use a gasket.
- Installation of vinyl version: use the flange and screws + cover + 2 gaskets.
