Troubleshooting

7.1 General
Consult the Holmatro dealer if the listed solutions do not give the desired result, or in case of other
problems. For malfunctions or repair, always specify the model and serial number of the equipment.
7.2 Lifting bags do not lift

Possible cause
The air source pressure is too low.
The air pressure downstream of the control unit is
too low.
The load is too heavy.
The check valve is faulty.
A lifting bag deflates while the "-" of the control
button is not pushed down.
7.3 Air leakage in the system

Possible cause
The pressure relief valve is faulty.
The connections are faulty.
7.4 The system is damaged

Possible cause
Damage and/or distortion.
8 Maintenance
8.1 General
Meticulous maintenance of the equipment preserves the operational safety and extends the life of the
equipment.
WARNING
When performing maintenance activities, always comply with the relevant safety
regulations. Wear the prescribed personal protection equipment.

Solution
Check the pressure.
Check the pressure.
The specified maximum capacity of lifting bags is
only achieved in virtually flat condition. The lifting
capacity decreases with increasing height.
Check the check valve of the control device. Refer
to 8.4.4 of the manual of the control device.
Solution
Check the pressure. Have the pressure relief valve
reset if it shows leakage when the pressure is too
low.
Check the connections of the couplings to the
hoses.
Check the joints between the couplings.
Solution
Immediately stop using the tool and present it to
your Holmatro dealer, or a Holmatro Certified
Technician, for inspection.
