Adjustment of Left-side Material Support on
Tool Stand
1. Loosen the nuts on the carriage bolts and
remove the locking bolts on the front and
back sides of the left-side material support.
2. Remove the fence from the table and place
the top side of the fence flush against the ta-
ble, overhanging the left-side material sup-
port. The plastic end bracket should sit in the
miter slot so that the aluminum fence con-
tacts the table top.
3. Move the fence as close to the front edge of
the left-side material support as possible.
4. Raise the front of the support until it is in con-
tact with the fence. Note, a rubber mallet
may be required to move the material sup-
port. During adjustment, the material support
should be flush to 0.2 inches (5mm) below
the table surface.
5. Install the locking bolt and tighten the carriage
nut on the front of the support.
6. Move the fence as close to the back edge of
the left-side material support as possible.

SAFETY POWER SWITCH

NOTE: This table saw has a safety feature that
helps pre vent accidental starting. When power is
cut to the saw, the tool will switch to the off mode.
Once power is restored, the tool will need to be
turned on again.
To turn saw on: Press the green button
(Fig. 39).
To turn saw off: Press the red paddle (which
depresses the red off switch underneath)
(Fig. 39).
To prevent unauthorized use: the switch can ac-
commodate a padlock with a long 3/16" diameter
shackle (not included) (Fig. 40).

7. Raise the back of the support until it is in
contact with the fence.
8. Install the locking bolt and tighten the car-
riage nut on the back of the support.
9. Move the fence back to the front of the support
to ensure that it is still flush to the table top.
