Pasta pot
→ Ideal for preparing noodles, pasta
and mussels.
→ The Silit pasta pot from the Vitali-
ano cookware line spells out Ita-
lian flair and gusto for your kit-
chen.
→ It makes preparing pasta even
faster and easier.
→ Pasta insert with anti-boil over
function. A specially designed
pasta insert prevents water from
boiling over.
Tip: use approx. 1 l water for every
100 gr. noodles.
Please note: the water level in the
pot should remain at least 3 cm
below the upper row of perforations
in the pasta insert (approx. 5-6 liters).
This way you prevent boiling water
from spattering during the cooking
process. Add some salt to the water
after it comes to a boil.
Then put in the noodles and let
them cook in the pot without the lid
on.
When they are done, lift the insert
with the noodles out of the water.
This puts an end to the bother of
draining hot water and the noodles
won't stick to the bottom of the pot.
Needless to say, the pasta pot can
also be used as a normal cooking
pot without the insert.
Please make sure
the rubber ring is positioned
properly (see diagram).
