Application
Can be used in conjunction with: Pressurised storage
heaters, thermally and hydraulically controlled
instantaneous heaters.
Operation with low-pressure displacement water
heaters is not possible.
Technical Data:
• Flow pressure: min. 0.5 bar - recommended 1 - 5 bar
• Operating pressure
• Test pressure
If static pressure exceeds 5 bar, a pressure reducing
valve must be fitted.
Avoid major pressure differences between hot and
cold water supply.
• Flow rate at 3 bar flow pressure:
32 303, 32 305, 32361, 32 463
32 304
• Temperature
Hot water inlet
Recommended:
Scalding protection possible by fitting a temperature
limiter (see replacement parts fold-out page II, order
no.: 46 375)
• Water connection
Installation
Flush pipes thoroughly.
Installation and connection, see fold-out page III,
Fig. [1], [2] and [3].
Refer to the dimensional drawing on fold-out page I.
Lift rod (A) must be inserted into the mixer body during
installation.
Explanation of Fig. [2]:
• With handspray (B) inserted fit spring (C) onto
shower hose (D) from below.
• Connect shower hose (D) with seal (E) to the middle
pressure hose (F) .
• All Grohe single-hole mixers with pull-out spouts are
equiped with a non-return valve.
Install pop-up waste set (28 910), see fold-out page II.
Seal plug-hole rim.
Open cold and hot-water supply and check
connections for leakage.
Check fitting for correct operation, see Fig. [4].

Flow rate limiter
This mixer is fitted with an adjustable flow rate limiter,
permitting an infinitely variable individual reduction in
the flow rate.
The highest possible flow rate is set by the factory
before despatch.
The use of flow rate limiters in combination with
hydraulic instantaneous water heaters is not
recommended.
To activate, see "Replacing the cartridge" steps 1 to 3,
Figs. [5] and [6].
Maintenance
Inspect and clean all parts, replace as necessary and
grease with Grohe special grease (order no. 18 012).
Shut off cold and hot water supply.
I. Replacing the cartridge, see Fig. [5].
1. Lever out plug (G).
2. Loosen set screw (H) with 3mm socket spanner
and detach lever (J).
3. Remove cap (K).
4. Remove screw union (L) with 32mm spanner.
5. Replace complete cartridge (M).
Assemble in reverse order.
Observe the correct installation position.
Ensure that the cartridge seals engage in the grooves
and the locating pins at the base of the cartridge slot
into the apertures on the housing.
Install screw union (L) and tighten.
II. Unscrew and clean mousseur (13 929), see fold-
out page II.
Replacement parts, see fold-out page II ( * = special
accessories).
