Operation

With the ON/OFF / EMERGENCY unit, the machine is switched on and off. For this, the
EMERGENCY-STOP-cap must be unlocked. Note: Press the switch only after you have chosen the
direction of rotation and spindle speed.

13.3.1 Spindle speed

The exact cutting speeds are given in the specifications of the drill manufacturers. Basically the
following rule of thumb applies:
As smaller the hole, as higher the rotation speed.
To achieve a good result is also:
 Loosen screw
 Open the pulley cover
 Loosen on both sides the black slide bar bolts
 Loosen the belt with the shift bar.
 Now change the belts
 Tighten the belts with shift bar and fix the position by tightening both bar bolts
 Close the pulley cover completely and tighten screw.
 Now apply in the middle between the two pulleys with your index finger and thumb
pressure onto the belts. If approx. 1cm tension is correct.
