Chip Removal and Cleaning
Remove the metal chips from the unit periodically using a brush.
Always keep the workplace clean.
Our ALFRA chip lifter, Prod.-No. 18654, is suitable for collecting chips.
Ensure that the unit is switched off during chip removal. Never remove chips with your bare hands. Risk of injury!
If there has been a build-up of chips inside around the milling cutter, unscrew one of the guide rails. Never clean
the unit with water, flammable liquids or thinners.
Operation, Care and Maintenance
The edge deburring unit was designed for workshop use. Experience has shown that the units run almost
uninterruptedly in both continuous and short use. Rough handling and incorrect use of the machines result in the
individual components wearing out faster.
Clean the unit periodically using a normal machine cleaning agent.
Remember that the carbon brushes of the electric motor only have a limited service life and must be replaced from
time to time.
