Setting the Aperture

✤ Aperture function works in M and A modes.
✤ By controlling the aperture, the user may adjust the overall image
brightness.
✤ Large apertures require more lighting and soften the background
details.
✤ Smaller apertures will increase the depth of field, bringing the main
subject and the background into focus.
1. Set the Power switch to
2. Set the Mode Dial to M or A.
3. Press the Quick menu selector.
4. Move the Joystick up or down to select Aperture
Setting (f-number).

The current Aperture Setting (f-number) will be
selected in Green.
5. Move the Joystick to the left or right to set the
desired aperture value.

The available Aperture Range: F2.8 ~ F11.0
6. When you are satisfied, press the Quick menu
selector.

The selected aperture setting is displayed
on the LCD screen and exits the setup
screen.

Ajuste de la apertura

✤ La función Aperture (Apertura) está operativa en las modalidades
M y A.
✤ Al controlar la apertura, el usuario ajusta el brillo general de la
imagen.
✤ Las aperturas amplias requieren más luz y suavizan los detalles
del fondo.
✤ Las aperturas más pequeñas incrementarán la
profundidad de campo, enfocando el sujeto
principal y el fondo.
