Operation
You can view the browning, defrosting and reheating process through the panoramic,
transparent window located on the front of the appliance.
Assembling the detachable glass panel
The front of the toaster is equipped with a panoramic window which enables you to view
your bread browning.
The interior window panel is detachable and must be correctly installed for the appliance to
function:
1. Hold the appliance in one hand and tilt it backwards slightly, with caution.
2. Using your other hand, carefully slide the glass panel into its slot until it clicks into place.
3. Check that the panel is securely attached to the appliance.
4. Your appliance is now ready to use.
WARNING! If the glass panel is not attached or inserted correctly, the appliance will not
function.
Toasting bread
1. Place the toaster on a dry, level and stable surface.
2. Plug the toaster into a properly grounded wall socket.
3. Insert the bread into the slot.
4. Select the desired browning setting, from 1 to 7, using the thermostat knob:
1-2 Lightly toasted
3-4-5 Moderately toasted
6-7 Thoroughly toasted
The higher the browning setting, the longer the operating time.
5. Lower the carriage lever fully until it locks into place. The toaster will start automatically.
6. To stop the toasting cycle, press the "Cancel" button.
NB: If the power cord is not plugged in, the carriage lever will not lock into place.
7. When the desired browning is achieved, the toaster will turn off automatically and the
toasted bread will be ejected.
8. After use, unplug the appliance and wait until it has
completely cooled before storing it in a dry place.
NB: If bread becomes lodged in the toaster, unplug the
appliance and allow it to cool before attempting to remove
the bread. Do not damage the internal components of the
appliance or the heating elements when removing lodged
