about the power supply
Before connecting the device to your power supply,
Ÿ
please ensure that the supply voltage stated on the
rating plate is compatible with your mains supply.
Only insert the mains plug into a socket when the
appliance is switched off.
Keep the cable and the appliance away from heat,
Ÿ
hot surfaces, moisture and liquids. Do not touch the
mains plug when you are standing in water and
always take hold of the plug with dry hands.
Appliance components carrying voltage may not
come into contact with liquid.
Do not take hold of a device if it falls into water. Pull
Ÿ
out the power plug from the socket immediately.
Connect the unit so that the power plug is freely
accessible.
Always switch off the appliance after use with the
Ÿ
buttons on the control unit and unplug the power
plug.
To disconnect the unit from the power supply,
Ÿ
always pull the plug out of the socket. Do not pull on
the cable!
Do not carry, pull or twist the device on the cable.
Ÿ
You must not continue to use the unit if the lead or
the plug are damaged.
If the power supply cable is damaged, it may only

be replaced by MEDISANA, an authorised dealer
or by qualified personnel.
Ensure that the cable will not cause tripping. The

cable must not be kinked, trapped or twisted.
