4.3 Remote Control Mode
(9300xi Sport Only)
CAUTION

Operation is subject to the following two (2) conditions:

including interference that may cause undesired opera-
tion.
NOTE
This equipment has been tested and found to
comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant
to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to
provide reasonable protection against harmful interference
in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses
and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed
and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause
harmful interference to radio communications. However,
there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a
particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful
interference to radio or television reception, which can be
determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user
is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or
more of the following measures:

Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
•
Increase the separation between the equipment
and receiver.
•
Connect the equipment to an electrical source on
a circuit different from that to which the receiver is
connected.
•
Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV

Modifi cations made to this equipment, which are not
authorized by the manufacturer, may void the user's
authority to operate this equipment.
Remote control of the Polaris 9300xi Sport is available
using the hand held remote control unit.
The remote control unit has four (4) buttons:
Rotate Left
Forward

To turn the cleaner, you must hold down the rotate left
or rotate right button.
When using the remote control unit, the two (2) lights on
the control unit
To return to automatic mode, either stop using the re-
mote control unit buttons for a minimum of 45 seconds
or press Cycle I or Cycle II button on the control unit.
4.4 Enabling the Automatic Start Mode
This Automatic Start Mode allows the control unit to
launch a pre-selected cleaning cycle triggered by an
external source (timer / programming clock).
The cycle can be either "Cycle I" or "Cycle II".
The 9300xi Sport will run for 2.5 hours.
It is not possible to change the running time when
operating in this mode.

Connect the control unit to the power supply outlet.
To automatically start the "Cycle I", press the
following button for more than three (3) seconds:
+ Cycle I
To automatically start the "Cycle II", press the
following button for more than three (3) seconds:
+ Cycle II
The two (2) lights will fl ash once
The robot will start automatically when it is
powered on.
Connect the control unit to the receptacle.
Press the OFF button for more than six (6) seconds.
