- Start the machine and wait until the cooling
water flows out over the cutting disc. Adjust the
flow of water using the water stopcock on the
disc guard and proceed to cut (photo 14).

CUT THICKNESS UP TO 180 mm
By adjusting the position of the cutting disc using
the recoil lever, it is possible to cut materials of up
to 180 mm in thickness in two strokes.
Using the graduated index found on the side of the
motor head, lower the motor head itself to reach the
required measurement, as in photo 15.
- Using the cutting set square set up the piece to
be cut on the working surface at the required
dimension.
- Start the machine and proceed to cut for the first
time (photo 16).

- Rotate the piece by 180° and repeat the cut.

11. Cutting at 45°
Before positioning the motor head make sure that:
- the machine is off;
- the cutting tool is not moving.
CUTTING AT 45° H. MAX 80 mm
Using the graduated scale on the stanchion of the

machine, move the motor head to the "jolly" position
and tighten the knobs (photo 18).

- Using the recoil lever, lower the motor head until
the cutting disc is a few millimetres below the
level of the supporting surface (photo 19);
