- Turn the lever (5) counter clockwise to unscrew it;
- Lift the pin (4);
- Insert the tube (2) into the sleeve (6) down to its reference
point (1);
- Make sure that the accessory's transmission shaft (3) is
inserted into the extension's transmission shaft (9);
- Make sure that the pin (4) is aligned with the hole (15) and
use lever (5) to lock it in place.
THE ACTIVE HEDGE TRIMMER IS MANUFACTURED AS AN ACCESSORY TO THE ACTIVE BUSH CUTTER EVOLUTION
SERIES AND BACK-PACK MODELS. IT IS FORBIDDEN TO USE THE HEDGE TRIMMER ON OTHER MACHINERY

- Remove screw 1 and loosen screw 2
- Mount the hedge trimmer upon the transmission (3)
- Make sure that the end of the transmission shaft (4) in
inserted into the bevel gear's pinion and that the tube (3) is

Installing the pruner fig. 10 :
- Remove screw 3 and loosen screw 2
- Mount the pruner upon the transmission (1/A)
- Make sure that the end of the shaft (1/B) is inserted into the
bevel gear's pinion.
- Tighten screw 3, making sure that it is aligned with hole 1/
C on the transmission tube.
- Tighten screw 3 and screw 2.
INSTALLING THE BAR AND CHAIN
- Without forcing it, loosen the chain tension screw (3 - fig. 14)
by turning it counter clockwise.
- Remove the nuts (3) and the washers (4) fig. 11.
- Remove the cover (2) fig. 11.
- PUT ON PROTECTIVE GLOVES
- Mount the chain - starting with the point of the bar fig. 15
- Position the chain (9) upon the pinion (8) and the bar (7)
within the appropriate guide (5)
- make sure that the chain's teeth, which can be found on the
upper side of the bar, are pointing towards the tip of the bar fig.

Reinstall the cover (2), the washers (4) and the nuts (3) without
tightening them
ATTENTION: Only perform the chain mounting and
tightening procedures while the motor is off.
5. ASSEMBLY

Read the safety standards carefully before starting the assembly.
ATTENTION: Do not work near energized lines.

- Tighten screw 1, making sure that it is aligned with hole 6 on
the transmission tube.
- Tighten screw 1 and screw 2.
PRUNER
Fig. 15 - In order to adjust the tension of the chain, use the
supplied Philips screwdriver to turn screw 1 clockwise, while
pulling the end of the bar upwards with the other hand.
- The chain must adhere to the bar's lower track and be easy
to slide manually upon the bar.

of the bar pointed upwards.
ATTENZION: The tension of new chains will have to be
adjusted more frequently with respect to chains which have
been in use for longer periods of time.
CHECK THE TENSION OF THE CHAIN FREQUENTLY

Fig.11 - Position the pruner / branch remover in such a way
so that the cap of the tank is on top (see the figure).
- Remove the cap (7) and add the oil (0.1 L).
- Close the cap.
ATTENTION: If the tank's oil level does not drop while the
machine is in function, there could be an oil pump malfunction.
