Advice on measuring
Stick the sensor tip at least 1.5 cm
deep into the thickest part of the
meat.
Do not take measurements directly
on the bone.
There are two scales: the left one
shows the temperature inside the
meat, and the right one shows the
oven temperature.
Observe the doneness
recommendations for poultry,
pork, lamb, veal, and beef in the
centre of the scale.
If you want to use the thermometer
solely as an oven thermometer, use
the fastening clip to attach it to the
baking tray.
You can use the adjustable
temperature marker to mark a
temperature on the scales. You
will then recognise more easily
whether the needle has already
reached, exceeded or fallen short
of a temperature.
You can measure the temperature
permanently (in the oven) or only
selectively.
