The user can set a maximum generated voltage to prevent any accidental over-voltage tests being
conducted in error.

You can then turn the switch to an insulation measurement setting and make measurements.
The maximum test voltage value is retained in a non-volatile memory. It will be displayed for a few
seconds on selection of an affected range.
For example, if the maximum voltage is 750 V, it will be applied and displayed on all settings of the
switch from 1000 V up.
