SECTION 1.
TRANSMITTER SET-UP AND PROGRAMMING
A. Changing the Stimulation Level
All of the transmitter's settings may be easily changed by accessing the internal switches
found within the transmitter's battery compartment.
To access the switches and change the settings:
1. Place the transmitter in your palm as shown in Fig. A.
2. Use a small screwdriver to flip the access panel by inserting and twisting the slot as
shown in Fig. B.
3. Moving SWITCHES 1, 2, or 3 changes the stimulation level according to TABLE 1.
(NOTE: UP is towards the battery). Choose one of the stimulation levels and move the
switches with the screwdriver. Level 1 is the lowest level of stimulation; Level 7 is the
highest level of stimulation.
4. Replace the battery cover on the transmitter.

Training Tip — When training the first time, we recommend that you start with the lowest level of
stimulation. Go to the next level only if you do not get the desired response from your dog.
B. Using the Boost Switch
1. The level of stimulation that was set using Table 1 applies when the slide switch (Boost Switch) on the
transmitter is pushed in the direction of the eyelet.
2. Sliding the side switch towards the antenna raises the stimulation by 2 levels. For example, if the
stimulation level is set at Level 2 and the side switch is towards the antenna, Level 4 stimulation will be
delivered when the transmitter button is pressed.
3. To return the stimulation level set from Table 1, slide the side switch towards the eyelet.
