-If you detect that the power supply cable or the plug are dama-
ged, do not use the appliance or try to replace the cable yourself.
Go directly to the authorised JOCCA technical service where they
will replace it correctly for you.
-Do not let the power supply cable touch or come near the hot
parts of the appliance.
-Do not immerse the appliance or any part of it in water or any
other liquid.
-Do not pull the cable to unplug the appliance from the mains,
always pull from the plug.
-If your appliance has been dropped or fallen into water or any
other liquid do not use it or try to repair it. Take it to the JOCCA
technical service.
-Never leave the appliance cable hanging or in contact with hot
parts.
-For your safety and for the appliance to work correctly, always
use JOCCA spare parts and accessories. We advise against the
use of adapters, plugs and/or extension cables. If these elements
are essential, only use single or multiple adapters and extension
cables that respect the applicable safety standards, making sure
that the power limit indicated on the adapter and/or the extension
cable is not surpassed.
-Always leave appliance in upright position during pauses in iro-
ning.
-If you have to leave the appliance unsupervised, switch it off
from the mains; never leave your iron unsupervised and connec-
ted to the mains.
-Never leave hot iron on textiles or materials that can easily burn.
-Before starting to iron, make sure that the surface where you put
the iron is stable.
-Do not stand iron on the connection lead.
-Never use this appliance if damaged or danger of having been
submerged in a liquid.
-Before filling the water tank or emptying it, always unplug
appliance from mains.
-Before connecting the appliance to the mains, check that the
water tank is closed.
-When you finish ironing, unplug appliance from mains and
empty the water tank.
-This appliance gives off steam that might cause burns. Never
aim the jet of steam at animals or people and never iron on gar-
ments that someone is wearing.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
-Before using the appliance for the first time, remove all packa-
ging.
-When you use the appliance for the first time, it may produce
some fumes and smells that will quickly stop. Regarding the
steam function, do not try it on clothing the first time you use it, as
there may be some dirt on the inside of the steam chamber which
would leave remains on the garments.
-Before filling or emptying the water tank unplug appliance from
the mains.Fill the water transparent tank until the MAX mark and
place the temperature control in "Min" position.
-Connect the appliance to the mains and check that the water
tank is closed.
-Place the temperature control in the desired position depending
on the garment you wish to iron.(See fabric table included in this
manual).
-You will see that the luminous lamp comes on. This lamp will go
off when the iron reaches the selected temperature.
-After each use, unplug the appliance from the mains and empty
the water tank.
FILLING THE TANK
-This appliance is prepared to be used with clean tap water, with
a higher hardness degree than 17ºdH. The use of distilled or
demineralised water increases the working life of the appliance.
-The tank capacity is for approximately 250 ml, always use the
transparent tank to guide you.
-The waters that cannot be used for this type of iron is mentio-
ned below, as these contain organic residues or mineral elements
subject to causing splashes, yellowish colours, or premature
